In this paper,we demonstrated a passive Q-switching operation of a photonic crystal fiber laser at 977 nm by using reflection-type Topological Insulator Bi2 Te3 for the first time.Combing the excellent saturable absorption characteristics of topological insulator and optical property of photonic crystal fiber,we had achieved stable Q-switched pulses with a repetition rate of 170 kHz and the maximum output power of 54 mW.
