  Influence of rare-earth-chloride additives(ReCl3,Re: La,Nd,Gd,Yb)on the sintering behaviors and thermal conductivity performance of Silicon Nitride(Si3N4)ceramics were studied in this work.Si3N4 ceramics were synthesized by Spark plasma sintering(SPS)and following heat treatment.Specimens after SPS were compact,whose grains were almost isometric,about 0.5μm in diameter.
