After the new curriculum reform, there has been a gap between mathematics in high schools and universities.Students of third-tier universities are in shortage of sound mathematics learning background, effective learning strategies and good learning habit.Scaffolding instruction is helpful in higher mathematics teaching in that it can show more visual and objective geometrical graphics and create more logical and elaborate teaching environment.Meanwhile, by means of question-inquiry learning and six strategies for construction, scaffolding instruction can help the students to construct new math concept and problem solving approach so that the learning can become more flexible and effective.
