@@ The interaction of drug molecules with DNA has become an active research area in recent years. Because the intracellular target for a wide range of anticancer and antibiotic drugs is DNA. Berberine is an important traditional medicinal herb, which has been effectively used in the treatment of dysentery, diarrhea, stomatitis, throat infections, and hepatitis in folk medicine. This paper investigates the association of herring sperm DNA (hsDNA) with Berberine (BH) by UV-Vis absorbance spectroscopy and fluorescence spectroscopy approximately under physiological conditions.
