Our investigations aimed to determine average population rates of some chemical elements in pig muscle and to find relations between them and biochemical parameter in blood.The investigations were conducted on a farm of Novosibirsk region.The concentration of heavy metals(Cu,Zn,Рb,Сd)in muscle samples of Precocious Meet pigs(SM-1)of Novosibirsk breeding was measured by an atomic absorption spectrophotometer(AAS-3).Biochemical blood analysis was carried out.The data obtained was analyzed with standard statistical methods and computer program STATISTICA 6 by StartSoft Inc.(USA).In muscle the ranging of the studied chemical elements can be presented in the following way: Zn > Cu > Pb > Cd.It can be shown as the ratio of ranges: 400.0: 5.7: 3.7: 1.The level of zinc is high because its essential for macroorganism and important in ecological aspect.Zinc is a necessary trace element for metabolically active organs and tissues,consequently for fast-growing organism as a whole.In our case the zinc level is 1.1 times higher(in 67%samples)than that permissible for meat and meat products.The levels of potentially toxic elements of lead and cadmium also exceed those permissible.The level of copper is not higher than the norm.Its 2.8 times lower than the permissible value.Copper phenotypical variability is the highest as compared to the others.As for the rest of the elements phenotypical variability is in the identical low order.It testifies to significant environment pollution and heavy metals ingress to organism.The date obtained testifies to ecological degradation in Novosibirsk region.Polymetal environment pollution is the most hazardous for population and animals,because synergetic action of chemical elements isnt allowed.It was important to investigate correlations between chemical elements in muscle tissue and biochemical parameter in blood.There are indicative positive correlations: Cd – Cu and Zn – Cu.They testify to wrong relationship between the metals because they are generally recognized as antagonists.We determined negative correlations between cadmium concentration in muscle and acid phosphatase(r = –0.73)and positive correlations with calcium(r = 0.78)in pigs serum.AST-to-ALT ratio was 1.00 ± 0.23(standard of ratio is 1.33 ± 0.42).Enzymes disbalance is obvious.AST and ALT are enzymes of parenchymatous organs(liver,kidney,heart,skeletal muscles)hence destructive process can take place.So we carried out pigs monitoring under environment pollution.We are concerned about the disturbing tendency in ecological situation that requires serious scientific and government measures.
