The assembly of metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)has attracted an extensive interest over the past two decades because of their intriguing structural features and potential applications such as gas storage/separation,catalysis,sensor,and biomedical imaging.1 As is well-known,aromatic polycarboxylate,polypyridine and deprotonated polyazaheterocycles are the most extensively exploited ligands for the assembly of MOFs.
