A new silica-bonded pilla arene stationary phase was successfully prepared using(3-aminopropyl)triethoxysilane as coupling reagent.(Fig.1)The structure of the new material was characterized by infrared spectroscopy,elemental analysis and thermogravimetric analysis and its chromatography performance was studied by comparison with ODS using different solute probes.
