Dimethyl dicarbonate (DMDC) was a kind of antimicrobials, authorized in China up to the cumulative amount of 250 ppm in soft drink.DMDC is easy to degrade and diseffective.To reveal the changes of DMDC during storage.The DMDC was detected by GC-MS during storage.The agilent column DB-5ms was used.The injection temperature was 120℃, and the initial temperature of 35℃, hold for 10 minutes, and then increased to 110℃, at the rising rate of 15℃ /min.
