　　Brain has an exceptional high requirement for energy metabolism with glucose as the exclusive energy source.Although the overall oxygen and glucose consumption does not change in the whole brain, the energy demand and supply is tightly coupled in different brain area through neurovascular and neurometabolic coupling.
