Background Cardiac catheterization transradial approach is very popular in China.More than 90％ patients accepted coronary angiography and angioplasty transradial approach in Fuwai Hospital in China.Mediastinal and/or neck hematoma after cardiac catheterization may occur rarely when the transradial approach is used.The aim of this study was to explore the possible reasons, the diagnosis and the strategy of treatment of mediastinal and/or neck hematoma after cardiac catheterization.To help the clinicians to recognize the complication, and try them best to avoid it, more over to know the therapy and prospection.
