  Acontium flavum Hand.-Mazz,belonging to Aconitum L.Its roots can be used as folk medicine to treat wound,fracture,rheumatic arthritis,bleeding wound,impairment caused by overstrain,chilblains,toothache,Dysmenorrhea and so on.In recent years,this plant and many of its analogs were reported to possess some other effects such as anti-inflammatory,demulcent,antifebrile and anti-tumor.Our research is to study the antioxidant activity of different active extracts obtained from Aconitum flavum Hand.-Mazz and emphatically focus on the chemical compounds of 30% ethanol.We believed,however,this research Perspective is able to provide the basis for exploiting and using Aconitum flavum Hand.-Mazz.Antiproliferative activity was evaluated by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5- diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) and flowcytometry methods against human oral cancer (BHY),breast adenocarcinoma (MCF7) and colon adenocarcinoma (HT-29) cell lines.The total phenolics,flavonoids and condensed tannins were determined by Folin-Ciocalteu,aluminum chloride and butanol-HCl colorimetric methods.The finally data we obtained by utilizing standard curve is IC50=0.05 mg/mL correspond with 30% ethanol extracts sample,IC50=0.09 mg/mL correspond with 60% ethanol extracts sample,correspond with 95% ethanol extracts sample and IC50=1.4226 mg/mL correspond with Water active extract sample.And else,we separated and identified five monomeric compounds which are (Compound 1),β-sitosterol (Compound 2),(Compound 3),(Compound 4),aconitine (Compound 5) and else.Hand.-Mazz.From the DPPH assay,we found 30% alcohol active extract of Aconitum flavum Hand.-Mazz has significant antioxidant activity than others.In particular,linarin,sucrose and hypaconitine were first isolated from Aconitum flavum.
