Ti3SiC2 is ternary nanolaminated carbide and has attracted great interests due to its astonishing properties,such as good damage tolerance and machinability,high elastic stiffness,good oxidation and corrosion resistance,high electrical and thermal conductivity,and good radiation damage tolerance.Recently,Ti3SiC2 was highlighted as promising structural components in high-temperature GIV nuclear reactor because of excellent structural stability after high flux irradiation.
