Analysis of Characteristics of Strike-slip Fault and Its Petroleum Geological Significance in LunDon

  Strike-slip fault is the most important structural element in LunDong area,which is the study area of this paper.Based on the latest seismic data,we interpret and study the characteristic,genesis and petroleum geological significance of strike-slip fault in the study area.The result shows that there developed strike-slip fault with very steep section,flower structure,dolphin effect phenomena and ribbon effect phenomena on the tectonic sections.In the plane direction,strike-slip fault has the characteristic of abundant appearance,conjugate and en echelon structure.The strike-slip fault was generated in the middle and late Hercynian,and its long-term successive activity was influenced by the regional stress field,which was caused by the shear action.Additionally,the strike-skip fault has the quite important petroleum significance because it determines the tectonic styles of Cambrian-Ordovician stratigraphy,enhances the reservoir physical property of Cambrian-Ordovician stratigraphy,increases the karstification of reservoirs,and influences the formation and distribution of oil and gas reservoirs.
