Melt crystallization has been reported as an effective technology for hyperpure chemical production. The dynamic mode of melt crystallization is attractive as a continuous process. The kinetic study on the inclusion entrapment and migration of dynamic melt crystallization had been carried out in authors former work [1].In the following research [2,3],a basic model to simulate the crystal layer growth,multi-impurities distribution and migration process had been developed. In this paper,a model system was established on the existing model and experimental results. The crystal layer thickness along the crystallizer determines the terminal yield; the layer growth rate and the inclusion distribution will influence the separation effect. In addition, the distribution of the different ions also varied with the layer growth rate[4].Thus,the cooling rate and supercooling degree should be strictly controlled during the layer growth process. The heating route should be well designed to avoid the breakage of the crystal layer. As an overall evaluation of the separation effect, sweating time should be approximately 1.5 to 1.8 times of the layer growth time. The operation profile was optimized to obtain desire separation effect with a high efficiency.
