金刚石(dia)网络是互穿结构中报道最多的拓扑类型，然而具有5重及以上的互穿dia网络还相对罕见。并且在已报道的5重及以上的互穿dia网络中，绝大部分是由单一配体(或长度相似的混合配体)构筑的；仅有三例5重互穿dia网络是由长度明显不同的混合配体构筑。
