　　It remains elusive on the role of CD8+ T cells in persistent viral infection.Here we employed HIV and LCMV infection models and identified that the up-regulation of CD8-T-cell mediated cytotoxicity but not cytokines, which could be regulated by CD160-mediated pathway, correlates with viral suppression and slow disease progress during persistent viral infection.
