PTD-SOD is a recombinant antioxidant enzyme we prepared by fusing a protein transduction domain with hCu,Zn-SOD,with capability to traverse into cell to remove superoxide.In addition to its prominent intracellular antioxidant activity,we also notice PTD-SODs whitening effect on skin.To understand its mechanism,the PTD-SODs tyrosinase inhibitory activity was investigated in vitro using dopa,and the skin whitening effect was studied using mice model.
