Cellular gene therapy inducing immune anti-tumour response constitutes one of the latest strategies for the treatment of many forms of cancers.The effectiveness of antisense/triple helix anti IGF-I cellular therapy was evaluated by exam of blood lymphocytes (PBL) in the patients treated for the glioblastoma.The cell "vaccines" were prepared from cultured cancer cells originated from tumor removed during surgery, transfected by antisense anti IGF-I expression vectors.
