Quantum-dot cellular automata (QCA) device architecture is powerful to implement digital circuits in nano-scale feature sizes.This paper is focuses on the layout of programmable logic array (PLA) structure in a single layer.In this new implementation we put forward two important theories: the clocking phase controlling (CPC) theory and the abnormal majority voter (MV) gate theory.These theories make the layout easier to achieve in the 2-dimensional plane,and can be easily extended to other forms of circuits.The simulation result shows that the structure is very tidy,powerful and friendly.
