  We used dynamic contact angle measurement to perform a comprehensive study of glass transition of Polystyrene/Polymethylmethacrylate thin films on silicon wafer.The results showed that the glass transition of polymer films is not only dependent on the thickness of polymer films, but also on the molecular weight.As shown in the figure, the T jm reduction of PS thin films has stronger thickness dependence for lower molecular weight than higher molecular weight, that is contrary to PMMA.We attribute it to the interface between the polymer and substrate which affects the motion of polymer chain.
