In the last years extensive research has been devoted to the investigation of optically-pumped organic solid-state lasers,due to the advantages of easy processability,chemical versatility,wavelength tuneability and low cost offered by organic materials [1].Among the numerous laser geometries demonstrated,distributed feedback (DFB) lasers,consisting of active organic waveguides and diffractive grating structures as resonators,have been particularly successful.
