Objective.This article is a review of the role of CT and MRI in the staging,operation and prognosis of tumors of EAC and also a comparative study of the growth pattern between SCC and adenocarcinoma.Conclusion.Carcinomas of EAC are rare.Imaging in particular CT and MRI plays an important role in the evaluation staging,operation selection and recurrence of the tumor.
