Contagious bovine pleuropneumoniae (CBPP) is classified by OIE as must-report infectious diseases.A series of pathological changes of CBPP can cause respiratory tract and high mortality, as well as bring huge economic losses to livestock production.Although CBPP in many Africa countries is pandemic, it also occur occasionally in Europe.The study of the pathogeny and the pathogenic mechanism of CBPP is far from enough.CBPP had been widely popular in China in last century, CBPP virulent strain Ben-1 which was isolated from North China had been used as parent strain of attenuate the virulence vaccine, and this vaccine has been proved to be able to effectively control the prevalence of CBPP.
