Mitotic regulators,including Cdc25C,Weel,Mytl,Greatwall,APC3 etc.,undergo a phosphorylations-dependent apparent molecular weight increase (super shift) in SDS-PAGE gel during the G2/M transition.Gel mobility super shift of these mitotic regulators always indicate the protein functional switch in the cell cycle event.However,the molecular mechanism and the functional impact of super shift of mitotic regulators have remained poorly understood.
