Lignin is one of principal components of renewable biomass.However,it is much more recalcitrant than others(carbohydrate including cellulose and hemicellulose)because of its disorderly internet structure and complex chemical bonding model.Therefore,it generally acts as byproduct of biomass utilization processes such as paper pulping industry and biomass hydrolysis.
