This tech showed that the FRP root penetration resistance layer is effective in blocking the intrusion of the plant roots,and that the flexibility of the self adhesion butyl rubber sheet makes it easy to withstand against damage from the movement of the concrete substrate.As follows,when using the waterproofing and root penetration resistance membrane which combines the two layers,long-term stability of the structures and the further development of the Green Roof industry are expected.
