Net reproduction rate,NRR is to represent the level of population reproduction deriving from mortality and fertility (see,for example,IUSSP,1982).As for the real regional population change,migration is often more influential to the change in population than fertility and mortality.Therefore,I expand the notion of reproduction to include migration and define a new index,i.e.regional reproduction rate,RRR to measure the influence of migration on population change (Hirosima,forthcoming).
