Globular clusters(GCs)are among the most congested stellar systems in the Universe.From a dynamical point of view GCs are the only astrophysical systems that,within the time-scale of the age of the Universe,undergo nearly all the physical processes known in stellar dynamics,such as: gravothermal instability,violent relaxation,energy equipartition,2-body and higher order collisions,binary formation and heating,“erosion” by the tidal interaction with external fields.For these reasons,GCs not only are the ideal laboratories to study the effects of dynamics on stellar evolution but are also efficient factories for the production of interesting and observable astrophysical exotica like Blue Straggler Stars(BSSs),Cataclysmic Variables(CVs)and the intermediate-mass black holes(IMBHs).In this talk I will review the main observational properties of the population of the exotica in GCs,focusing on possible open questions and future prospective.
