Objective In order to locate the landmark of axillary venous.Methods The 115 selected patients were made by axillary vein angiography.Several indicators should be measured: the angle between clavicle and horizontal line, the angle between axillary vein and clavicle, the distance between axillary vein starting and the sternal end of clavicle.Then, in the chest area, the nadir of left subclavian right-angled triangle formed by the surface of the skin sag was point A, under vertical about 1.2cm was point B as the landmark of axillary vein.Electrodes were marked at the point B, then the coincidence rate of axillary vein were observed through the point B.Results The angle between the clavicle and the horizontal line was 29.74±7.48°, the angle was 30.70±7.38° in male, 28.83±7.53° in female, 29.50±7.48° on the left side and 30.23±7.57° on the right side.The angle between axillary vein and clavicle was 57.30±10.50°, the angle was 60.00±11.47° in male, 54.80±8.86°in female, 58.12±10.64° on the left side and 55.71±10.17° on the right side.The distance between axillary vein starting and the sternal end of clavicle was 54.74±11.10mm, the distance was 57.86±9.15mm in male, 51.77±12.02mm in female, 55.50±11.54mm on the left side and 53.24±10.15mm on the right side.80.95% axillary vein passed the landmark.Conclusion The distance between axillary vein starting and the sternal end of clavicle was 54.74±11.10mm, the angle between clavicle and axillary vein was 57.30±10.50°.There was a significant difference between different genders.There was a rectilinear correlation between the angle of the clavicle and the horizontal line and the angle of the axillary vein and the clavicle.And 80.95% axillary vein passed the point B.
