The Canadian SOLAS (Surface Ocean Lower Atmosphere Study) research network is the Canadian contribution to the International Geosphere Biosphere program’s core project,referred to as the Surface Ocean Lower Atmosphere Study (IGBP-SOLAS).Canadian SOLAS was the first SOLAS national program to be funded and,as such,has played a leading role in the growth of international SOLAS efforts.
