盾壳霉(Coniorhyrium minitans)是核盘菌(Sclerorinia sclerotsorum)的重寄生菌，其产孢和寄生能力对于菌核病的防治至关重要。为了从分子水平上研究盾壳霉产孢和寄生菌核的机制，实验室在前期构建了盾壳霉ZS-1菌株的T-DNA标记插入突变体库。
水稻纹枯菌(Rice Sheath blight)作为世界性水稻三大病害之一，在20世纪90年代中期成为我国南方部分稻产区的第一大病害，具有广泛的地理分布。水稻纹枯菌中的病毒种类繁多，能引起水稻纹枯病菌弱毒特性的真菌病毒在生物防治上有具有重要的实用价值。

甘蔗鞭黑粉菌(Sporisorium scitamineum)引致的黑穗病是甘蔗生产上的重要病害。该菌为二态型真菌，其单倍体酵母状菌体以腐生方式生活，只有具亲和性的单倍体经配合形成双核菌丝体才能侵染甘蔗，因此，菌体配合及细胞形态转换是侵染致病和完成生活史过程的关键步骤。
病毒作为一种严格的细胞内寄生分子，其传播方式有两种：水平传播和垂直传播。垂直传播是以有性孢子为介质直接由亲代传播给子代的传播方式，由于复杂的生殖屏障机制隔离了大部分病毒的垂直传播。对于占有绝大部分植物病原真菌种类的子囊菌，在其携带的真菌病毒中，目前报道仅有部分线粒体病毒能以高频率进入有性孢子子囊孢子，而应用真菌病毒对植物病原真菌的生物防治最主要的局限是其传播能力。
芝麻茎点枯病是芝麻生产中最具威胁性的病害之一,其病原菌菜豆壳球孢(Mac-rophmina phaseolina,简称Mp)是一种非专性寄生的土传病原真菌,寄主范围很广,可侵染除芝麻以外的500多种植物。为明确Mp与芝麻互作过程中参与致病的基因种类,系统研究Mp与芝麻互作中致病基因的总体表达模式,初步推测该病原菌致病的分子机理,本研究在Mp全基因组测序的基础上,以芝麻茎点枯病菌——芝麻互作0h、8
