　　Salix psammophila and Caragana korshinskii are two typical native shrubs in the Mu Us Sandland,China.Both species not only play an important role in soil and water conservation,sand-fixing and wind-blocking,but also help to increase local farmers' income with S.psammophila as an important bio-energy material and C.korshinskii as an good forage.
