Albericus Gentilis was a well-known and also very outstanding theorist of the international law in the sixteenth century.Also, Albericus Gentilis was the founder of the secular thought of the international law.At the same time, he was one of the most important practitioners and facilitators in the phase of the transformation of the theories of the international law.The concept of Albericus Gentilis on the international law is of quite strong practicality and concreteness.For this reason, his concept on the international law lays a solid foundation for the modernized theoretical paradigms during the early period of constructing the international law.Albericus Gentilis took advantage of the practical research methods to give an introduction to the relationship among different countries.At the same time, Albericus Gentilis attached high importance to the fact that the principles of the international law and the state relations were not only based on the theological thoughts and also were necessary to take the legal norms as the foundation.
