In Taiwan there are more than eight thousand people are waiting for organ transplants to improve their health condition currently.Average of twenty six thousand people per annum signed up for organ donation consents with remarks on their NHI IC cards.However there are only approx.200 successful organ recipients at an annual basis.The differences between these three factors in organ donation are at large.Based on the above the mentioned,this study is conducted in order to explore whether Altruistic Theory(AT)is affecting Self-Determination Theory(SDT)and further to influence the individuals intention in signing up organ donation consents.This study discovered that from relevant research literature that individuals signing up for organ donation is strongly influenced by altruism.The findings of this study are based on a random distribution of questionnaire sheets with a qualified response of 159 among the total response of 201.The unqualified response of 42 copies were excluded from the study.Qualified response copies are accounted for 79.10%of total response copies collected.Statistical analysis was performed by using SPSS 22.0 software for correlation analysis of reliability and validity verifications.This study found that the self-motivated organ donors are strong influence by Altruistic Behavior.it is highlighted on Yu et al.(2013)that the value and the communication mechanism of altruism can help to improve organ donation,and at the same time.
