An appropriately trained and educated work force is critical during each stage of the food production continuum to ensure a safe,nutritious,and dependable food supply,which in tum is essential for any society to support and sustain its development.The IUFoST Distance Education Task Force has undertaken to address training needs for workers in the food processing sector in Sub-Saharan Africa.
