Objective To determine the efficacy of Anti diabetic herbal formula (ADHF) with placebo,on the metabolic control of NIDDM patients inadequately controlled on maximal doses of conventional oral agents.Methods In a six-center investigation was conducted to determine including double-blind study,(117 with 108) NIDDM patients with control despite maximal doses of Glucophage were randomly assigned to receive additional treatment with ADHF 1.5 g thrice daily or placebo for 6 months.
