Background Portal vein thrombosis (PVT) is a very uncommon but serious postoperative complication of pancreatcoduodenectomy (PD).We report a case of postoperative hemorrhage from the common hepatic artery (CHA), PVT and gastric hemorrhage in a patient who had undergone pylorus-preserving pancreaticoduodenectomy (PpPD).
