1.The carbon society is releasing CO2 at a rate that threatens ocean life through acidification and atmospheric life through global warming.The natural CO2 well represented by forests and agriculture is not suited for an optimal regulation of the phenomenon.2.By the same token, as natural resources feeding the carbon based society get depleted, the need for the effective recycling of CO2 into indispensable raw materials for human activity will become more and more pressing in order to control availability of valuable resources and their costs.3.Industrial solutions and equipment that respect the durable development constraints will have to be invented ad implemented.We shall compare the advantages of various options, including storage.4.Perspectives and costs will be explored as effective solution to the problem will require a number of trade-offs of societal nature, but also will be the seed for the creation of a new worldwide industry with important profit perspectives.
