The viewing angle?s question is very important to the liquid crystal displays(LCDs).Compared to the active luminous type displays,LCDs? luminance,contrast ratio,color and grey levels display are changed more with the viewing angle.The compensation film is the major method to improve the viewing angle.How to obtain the better viewing angle? The multi-domain technology,driven circuit and backlight source all affect the viewing angle.Moreover,the beam steering optical film is used in normal twist nematic LCD and blue-phase LCD.For a LCD,how much the viewing angle is enough for the normal audiences? 160,170,or 178 degree?
