The Zn-Mg alloy coatings were electrodeposited from aqueous sulfate solution with organic additives.The effect of metal salts、organic additives、current densities、pH values and bath temperatures on the composition of Zn-Mg coatings was studied.The coating was characterized by SEM,XRD and XRF.The Mg content can reach about 0.7 wt.% in the bright alloy coating.The corrosion behavior was also investigated in 3.5% NaCl solutions in comparison with Zn coatings.
