笔者最近在美国六所大学、中学进行了一项调查,共有321位以中文为外语的学生参加,主题是美国学生对中文教学法的看法。通过问卷调查,我们发现,无论是中学生还是大学生,他们既喜欢传统的语法-翻译法,也欣赏现代的交际法理念。本文将详细报告该问卷的调查题目、调查对象和调查结果,并讨论调查结果对中文教师的启示。
I recently conducted a survey at six universities and secondary schools in the United States. A total of 321 students with Chinese as a foreign language participated in the seminar. The theme was the American students’ views on Chinese teaching methods. Through the questionnaire survey, we found that both middle school students and college students enjoy the traditional grammar-translation method as well as the modern communicative philosophy. This article will report in detail the survey questions, respondents and survey results of the questionnaire, and discuss the findings of the survey on Chinese teachers.
