Fusarium wilts,caused by Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.conglutinans,is becoming a destructive disease of warm season-grown cabbage in North of China.Development of hybrids with adequate genetic resistance is the most effective way to reduce yield losses.The aim of this paper was to conduct comprehensive investigations of the fusarium pathogens in Yanqin,Beijing and Jinzhong,Shanxi,which were the two most important epidemic areas in China and explore an optimized method for screening and identifying disease resistant and susceptible cabbage genotypes.
