Backgroud Both peripheral blood (PB) and bone marrow (BM) can be used for molecular monitoring by quantitative real-time RT-PCR (Q-PCR) for chronic myeloid leukemia(CML).Aim To determine whether molecular monitoring using PB and BM were comparable based on the international scale (IS) and whether early molecular response in BM had extra prognostic importance besides to PB.
