Intercultural competence has been especially improved in foreign language teaching, and is becoming more and more necessary for students today.This competence is based on a deep sensitive understanding of the other people with the different cultural backgrounds.Therefore, e-learning will offer the required environment for improving such interpersonal intercultural competence.The article will be argued here that improving students intercultural competence can be facilitated by e-learning environments.The study of different culture and the case of digital technology and knowledge are generating today.Reflecting on these dimensions and taking them into account in designing specific environments should result in facilitating intercultural learning and teaching.
