Objective:With the development of society,peoples work life has changed dramatically; people realize that participation in sports can improve our health.Chinese traditional martial art,tai chi chuan,containing extensive and profound cultural background,is a representative of Chinese traditional sports and it is loved by the Chinese.Methods: By using the method of document information and expert interview.In this paper,logical analysis,summarized method,systematically expounded the fitness effects of Taijiquan on the human body,the application of physiology,psychology as the basis,analyze and explain its mechanism.Conclusion: Taijiquan exercise is to regulate and promote the mental health level,especially in the elderly.It can be summed up that Tai Chi not only have a good impact on physical health,but also on the human nervous system,cardiovascular system,respiratory system,digestive system etc,especially the elderly.It play a positive role in promoting the health of human in real life.Long-term exercise can make people happy,relax the pressure and improve immune system function.
