1.-Objective of the Research.The aim of this work is to investigate if there is a correlation,in systemic lupus eritematosus SLE,and other rheumatologic diseases,between the age of the patients at the moment of realizing the studies of antinuclear antibodies titles (ANA),and the erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR),and between them; and on the other hand the level of inflammation,represented by the numbers of SGV,and the activity of the disease represented as the levels of ANA rifles.In our study we included 120 patients of both genders,74 of them diagnosed with SLE,65 women and 9 men,and the other 46 with other rheumatologic pathologies like penfigus,sclerodermia,rheumatoid arthritis,Sj(o)gren,mixed connective tissue disease and polimiosytis,in a time period of 4 years from 2000 to 2003,to which where practiced ANA and ESR in our laboratory.
