Direct methanol fuel cells (DMFC) are known to be attractive green power sources for portable applications due to its high energy density (~6kWh kg-1) and considerable energy-conversion efficiency [1].Up to now,platinum has been the major component of the anode and cathode catalysts in DMFC.However,the unsatisfactory activity and high cost are the major obstacles of Pt-based catalysts that hinder the commercialization of DMFC [2].
