Cultivating innovation talents is the needs not solely to implement the educational policy of Chinas Communist Party, but also to promote the development of higher education schools.The cultivation of innovation talents by higher education is a significant systematic engineering, and therefore higher education schools should undertake a historic important task, allowing their cultivated talents to keep pace with times and own open minds.Thus, the cultivation of human innovative spirits and abilities can be placed into a very vital position to be valued, forming a higher education system to cultivate innovative talents.This paper introduces the basic connotations of innovation talents, analyzes the main problems in the cultivation of innovation talents by higher education, and also proposes several thoughts to propel higher education to cultivate innovative talents.
